WSUP AI was a browser and mobile app for chatting with AI characters. The main idea was simple: pick a character and start talking right away, with no sign-up, download, or payment needed for basic use. Users could chat with pre-made personas spanning anime, fantasy, romance, history, and user-created types or build and customize their own characters with distinct looks, voices, and backstories. The app supported group chats with multiple characters, AI voice replies, in-chat image generation, and a "Stories" social feed for discovering trending chats. A memory feature (including editable Memory Cards) let characters retain details during conversations. It also allowed unfiltered adult content. Important: the product is now winding down.
